Isabella Faith Is Four!

Isabella Faith is four, and I can hardly believe it! When they say they grow fast they mean it!

These four years have been an amazing adventure for me as a Mami and for us as a family. We have enjoyed every little bit of this journey, trying not to take for granted our time with her.

Throughout the years she had changed so much, her personality has shined and she had turned into a sweet, smart, funny, determined and caring little girl. We are so proud of her and grateful for being her parents and to watch her grow.

This year for her birthday we tried something new, the birthday interview. Of course it was not my idea, I used a little help from Pinterest. I wanted to record her likes at this age so we can look back at it when she is old enough to understand it. I went through several interviews and picked the questions that made most sense for her.

So here it is, hope you enjoy it!

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do?

A: I like to explore.

Comments: Just like her Mommy.

Q: Who’s your best friend?

A: Evan.

Comments: These two love each other so much. They have been together in daycare since Isabella’s first day. Because of their friendship his Mom and I had become friends as well. We go out on playdates and  always have lots of fun.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: I want to be Ariel, from The Little Mermaid.

Comments: Since I started asking this question she always said she wanted to be a princess. It’s the first time she named this one.

Q: If you could have one wish come true, what would that be?

A: Candies, a lot of them.

Comments: This girl love her sweets, she can eat candies all day long. I was not a lot into candies until I got pregnant from her. I remember I used to hide in the closet and eat a lot of candies, while being pregnant.

Q: What would you buy if you had a million dollars?

A: A Barbie doll.

Q: What’s your favorite place to go?

A: Asian Buffet Restaurant

Comments: She loves Asian food and her Daddy loves Asian buffets so she got it from him. They are not my favorites but we go often. Another curious fact is that when I was pregnant my first craving was Asian food and through the pregnancy I craved it as well.

Q: What’s your favorite food

A: Pasta.

Comments: Since she started eating regular food that’s the answer always! She eats pasta at least twice a week

Q: What makes you laugh?

A: A chicken

Comments: Not sure why she answered this, but it made me laugh.

Q: What’s your favorite book?

A: The Shimmer & Shine book

Q: What’s your favorite color?

A: Pink

Comments: That’s always the answer.

Q: What’s your favorite show?

A: Shimmer & Shine.

Comments: Not surprised she has been watching this show like since she was two or before. Actually the theme of her third birthday in Kansas City was Shimmer and Shine. They are two cute sister genies and Momma enjoys to watch them as well.

Q: What sport you like best?

A: Soccer.

Comments: I thought she would say football because she is a Chiefs fan and watches the games with her Daddy. But on the other hand the one sport she has practiced is soccer, so it makes sense.

Q: What’s your favorite song?

A: Let it go, from Frozen.

Comments: She loves it and I love to see when she performs it.

Q: Where do you wish you could go on vacation?

A: Worlds of Fun

Comments: This is an amusement park in Kansas City. She has been there a few times. Guess I will need to buy a season pass.

Q: What’s your favorite movie?

A: Frozen

Comments: And this is my fault. I was the one that made her watch it for the first time. After that we have watched it like a million times. This movie was also the first one she watch from start to end in the house.

Q: What’s your favorite toy?

A: L.O.L. Surprise! Indoor and Outdoor Cottage Playhouse

Comments: We just got her this for her birthday. I guess we did good.

Q: What’s your favorite Holiday?

A: Christmas

Comments: Just like her Momma.

We also did our traditional photo shoot with Marie Photography! Sarah has been photographing Isabella since she was 6 months! This year we chose two themes: Elsa and Boho!

Isabella enjoyed the whole shooting and I think this has been the most succesfull photo shoot we have ever done, in terms of her enjoying it and following instructions!

Baby Girl these four years had been the most amazing years of my life and thats because of you!
